The lowest review for Mass Effect 2 on Meta is a 7,5, and it belongs to gamecritics.com. This site is unbiased and critically analizes all games, something most of the popular sites have forgotten over the last few years.

People missed the item about the finalized chipset for natal :P.

"So this is a David and Goliath story right? Possibly. However in this case one has to wonder if Redmond is being treated that fairly by the courts. $80 for using XML is a large chunk of Office's price tag and the fact it has been deleted suggests that it was never that important in the first place."

Because the company that was hired by Remedy (no not even by MS) has interest in trashtalking PS-exclusives! Kill them all!

just look at 2.5

I get that part, but saying SCC and L4D2 are out of place at a Microsoft conference (which he does) just doesn't make any sense. I refer to my PSP/PS3 @ Sony conference, Sony owns different platforms, they show games for both. Microsoft did the same with L4D2 and SCC. And Sony had also enough multiplats in the conference, like FFXIV and ACII.

But let this be the end of it, otherwise we're gonna get another 'who won E309' discussion ;).

He was praising Heavy Rain (sort of) but also says (rightfully so) that some points in the game aren't fully polished. I think we can all agree that there are some minor points that could have been better, but as this guy says it has much to do with budget and timelimitations.

Your logic fails. You call L4D2 and SCC multiplat when they are showed at a Microsoft conference? Where can I get that game besides the MS platforms? Sony showed PSP and PS3 games, that is logical, considering they own both platforms. But when MS show games that are on both THEIR platforms, they don't belong there?

You can call them multiplat in a PS3 vs 360 vs PC discussion, but not in a MS vs Sony (which this is, concidering there was never a Games for Windows press conference ...

All of your comments I have red are so stupid :|.
First, Sony fans always like to say America =/= world, so you should know there are no sales of trade ins in EU. MS has lost 1 billion because of RRoD and 3 year warranty, for people who sent in their 360 to get it repaired.

Furthermore, your car comparison is stupid. Ferarri and Honda don't target the same consumers, PS3 and X360 do. Getting angry over MLG pro stating the fact that PS3 is 3rd is dumb and your conspiracy t...

Remedy isn't overhyping or bashing others, so I don't know what you're going on about. Turn 10 is an example of what you are saying, but PD (i.e. Sony dec) isn't exactly humble either, saying it will outdo evert other race game and to expect perfection.

Nah, it doesn't need extended warranty, but the costs of getting it repaired in EU are ridiculous! That's something they need to change.

sorry for you, but even Naughty Dog said they were pre-rendered. Not CGI, but in-engine, with lots of AA that in-game doesn't have. If you played through the game you could easily see that they were from a higher level graphically than in-game was. They are 720P movies which take up lots of space, something that isn't possible on DVD. A linear game such as Alan Wake is possible on DVD with a 10+ hour campaign if they are without pre-rendered cutscenes.

EDIT:

are you really this stupid? You think that resolution has much to do with disk space? Crysis is on DVD, yet PC's can run that beyond full HD. Also ALL cutscene's in UC2 are pre-renderd, not in-game. They are 720P movies that take up much space. If Alan Wake only has in-game cutscene's they could easily fit a 12 hour campaign on 1 disc. Just wait and see....

I argee, but after MS reorganised things last year and with the opening of another Rare studio I don't think that will happen again. Probably Rare has one studio for the core games, and one for casual/Natal.

I remember the boxarts for ICO, the EU-version looked awesome, like some piece of art, US-version looked like a piece of sh.t :P

So the only game you bought this year is ME2? That's the only game this year so far that's UC2 level according to Meta.

5791d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

But still more than necessary ;).
People on eBay selling fake 250GB's for €50, and they
work fine so why not go for that if your hungry for more space?

More than a million PS3's in one month. Microsoft posting profits with it's entertainment division. And Ninty, Well:

It was indeed a very tough year for gaming
